Find your kind of Pilates
At HAAR Pilates, we believe movement should help you feel better in your body, not leave you worrying about whether you're doing too much or getting it wrong.
Our unique studio offers small-group Reformer Pilates, mat classes, barre and private sessions, with experienced instructors who take the time to get to know you.
You're completely new to Pilates
The best place to start is our Beginner Mat or Beginner Reformer classes. We'll introduce you to the foundations, explain what you're doing and give you time to get comfortable. These classes are slower paced, so definitely perfect if you have not tried Pilates before or coming back after injuries/illness.
You want to build strength and feel more confident
If you've done at least 5 classes before (either with us or somewhere else) our Dynamic Reformer or Mat on the Reformer class could be your next step. Both of these still offer lots of modifications and you choose your pace.
You're looking for something more dynamic and upbeat
Our Reformer & Barre, Barre & Core and Beginner Barre are our faster paced classes. The classes still strongly incorporate the Pilates principles while adding the additional fun of standing barre exercises. You can expect to get slightly out of breath, sweat and feel your legs shake in the best possible way!
You want to slow down
Reformer Zen is a slower, more mindful class combining gentle movement, supported stretching, breath awareness and time to release some of the tension you carry through the week.
You'd like something more personal
Our private sessions give you dedicated time with Veronika who can build a sessions around you, your goals and how you're feeling on the day. She has almost 20 years of experience, helping clients to get stronger again after injuries, during chronic pain, and before/after childbirth.
We offer private/semi-private studio sessions including our reformer, reformer/tower combination and Pilates combo chair.
Still not sure?
That is completely fine! Send us a message and we'll help you work out where to start.
What makes HAAR Pilates different?
We see the person, not just the movement.
With almost 20 years of Pilates teaching experience, we know that no two bodies, or two days, are the same.
You might be managing a recurring back issue, navigating changes in midlife, returning to exercise after a break or simply wanting to feel stronger as you get older. Whatever brings you here, we take the time to listen.
-
Small groups, personal attention. You're not just another spot in a packed class.
-
Experience over trends. Our teaching is grounded in movement knowledge, not whatever happens to be popular online.
-
Options when you need them. Exercises can be adapted to suit different abilities and individual needs.
-
Progress without pressure. You can challenge yourself without comparing yourself to anyone else.
-
A studio that feels comfortable. A calm, welcoming space where you can arrive as you are.
Perhaps this is the place for you.
If you've been putting off exercise because you're worried about your back, your joints, your age or simply not knowing where to begin, we'd love you to discover a different kind of studio.
A place where you're listened to, where movement is adapted to you, and where getting stronger doesn't have to mean pushing yourself to your limits. Let's find a way for you to move that feels good.
